…the smell of fresh coffee in the early morning…

1.Reading a really good book.
2.A glass of cold water when I’m thirsty.
3.Listening to music
4.Hearing my children laugh together
5.The birds singing in the morning.
6.The sound of the waves breaking on the shore.
7.Freshly baked bread coming out of the oven.
8.The smell of fresh coffee in the early morning
9.The sun rising over the trees.
10.The sun setting over the sea.

So much fun to think of these – thank you Donna!

    You are a rich woman.

  5. Nor’wester – yes I love to see the sun rise and set over the water but I most often watch sunsets over the water – we like to drive down to a nearby lighthouse and enjoy the evening. It’s so lovely.Dawn – I think I could have easily whipped off 100 things – but too often I forget to actually enjoy them as much as I could.

I think that those ten would be EXACTLY what I would say…gotta love the simple things in life..

How funny. When I read ‘the sun setting over the sea’ I thought ‘how can that be, she’s on the east coast!’ Then I remembered you’re on an island. I guess you could watch the sun rise AND set over the sea in the same day if you wanted! :)Oh, coffee in the morning. I’m so blessed hubby gets up and pushes that button first! 🙂
