daffodilsI know, I know – the daffodils aren’t really blooming like that here on PEI yet…

But the sun is shining

And the sky is a gorgeous blue

And the birds are singing

And the bits of snow left over from the spring storm we had last week are finally disappearing

And I think …

yes I think …

Spring may have arrived on Prince Edward Island

Today sun4 Sunny
High : 6°C

6 + 6 + 30 = 42 degrees F for my American friends.

Yes I know, 42 doesn’t seem all that warm, but if you sit in a protected corner and lift your face to the sun, it is absolutely glorious.

And look at the forecast for Monday:

Monday sun3 Chance of showers
High : 17°C | Low : 4°C | POP : 60%

Ignore that chance of showers bit – it’s the temperature we’re looking at!

17 C !

Remember the math – double it and add 30.

That’s 64 F

(We have thick blood up here don’t forget!)

Happy Saturday everyone!

It was beautiful and sunny with a few clouds here and there today. First thing we did was go for a wonderful walk. Just to feel the sun was heaven. It’s going to be very warm next week, so after all that moisture everythings going to be green and growing.
