  1. It has been SO hot here too — in the 90’s and 100’s. I WISH I had an ocean nearby, but I’m landlocked on the prairie. I’m glad you’ve got that gorgeous ocean to dip into.Jody

  2. I haven’t been here in awhile and thought I’d stop by again… don’t know why I don’t come by more often, because whenever I do, it’s like a little trip to the island for me! :)Hope you’re able to go to the shore and enjoy the cool breezes! 🙂

  3. That does look like a nice solution to a hot day. We don’t have access to water that looks like that, but we do belong to a swim club. Maybe we should venture out tonight.Cas

  4. Oh, I’m so green to see the ocean (even in a picture) on such a hot day!!! We live in Alberta (and a city at that) and have visited your beautiful island and I often dream, especially in the heat of the Summer, of living there. Stay cool, okay?

  5. We have had a heat wave of mid 30’s for about 2/12 – 3 weeks now. Unusual for us to be in that kind of heat for that stretch of time. Southern AB is under a total fire ban. But alas, we have no beach here, at least not like your beach, for some cool relief. Sigh. The local pool has to do!
