  1. Oh I’ve finally taught myself to crochet after years of being taunted from my sister. I made a little purse with just a straight double crochet stitch and it worked pretty well. I have this pattern for a lace cardigan that I’ve held onto for years, vowing that someday I’d learn and make it.

  2. I think you will enjoy knitting – know if the pictures don’t work for you or the instructions, there are several websites with knitting videos and I have seen them on Youtube also. Those have been helpful for me when I have had something tricky to do for more advanced knitting – to see it makes it so much easier! Good luck!

  3. Ah, I just started knitting an afghan for a blessed event that’s due in March! It feels good to be playing with wool again. Have fun! (Oh and I like the new music playing.)

  4. I’m relatively new at knitting…and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have! I just finished my daughter a wonderful scarf for her birthday – it was simple!! My hardest task at first was just remembering WHAT to do; it felt so awkward, and I was all thumbs. But, just keep it up, (even simple things like dishcloths!) and you will become an old pro! 🙂

  5. You picked the best hobby there is, knitting! It’s portable you can take it anywhere. Gifts "you make yourself" for family members and friends have special meaning. You’re going to love it! And I see you have excellent taste in yarn too.
