What wonderful photos Kathie! I especially like the ones taken in the cemetery. Such beauty in a very peaceful setting. Thank you for sharing your corner of Canada with us – when we get the opportunity to visit PEI it will feel like home.

  3. I wasn’t born here but I agree with you, every day I see signs and wonders all around me. At first I was captured by the beauty of the landscape but I find myself getting squishier in the middle these days and being captivated by the beautiful, delicate, resilient people who inhabit this land. In all the world only about 130,000 get to claim this place as home and I’m glad to be one.

Thanks Martha and Kim – you girls are up and about early!! You are right about discovering the Island’s beauty – I’ve heard it said that it’s a photographer’s dream and I believe it! I’m very thankful that I can live here – even in the muddy springtime πŸ™‚
