sweet songs

Cheery feathered friend singing chickadee dee dee.

Little bright eyes

And hidden deep in the pine trees, comes a welcome sound,

the chickadee’s springtime love song ~  fee bee bee.

It reminds me of my favourite verse from Zephaniah 3:17

The LORD your God is with you,

He is mighty to save.

He will take great delight in you,

He will quiet you with his love,

He will rejoice over you with singing.

Is there any sweeter promise?

I hope today is filled with sweet  songs for you and yours.

with love

Thanks for sharing that scripture verse. It has encouraged me and I will share this with my wonderful sister. We just both worked hard all day moving….And this verse will quiet our souls.

I was listening to all the birds singing as we walked the other day. It was a wonderful reminder to me to just rest in the Lord and trust Him with all of my cares.

My favorite bird (how can you not love a bird that sings so cheerfully on the coldest of winter days?) and one of my favorite verses! Thanks for making me smile on a sleepy afternoon at my desk.
