My next door neighbor has a huge swath of lilies and the fragrance drifts into my garden on every breeze. I love it…and have hinted I would like a plant or two. She didn’t take the hint; now I fight temptation to just go help myself.Isn’t it strange that I have never been tempted to steal anything in my life before?Maybe I will try hinting more broadly again.

I love them! I think mine didn’t blossom so well this year because of that day of heavy snow, and a night of 18ยบ. But the leaves still look good, and they have spread from last year, so I’m hoping they will put on a great show next spring.

Oh thank you Kathie. No lilies here in south Texas, but I remember an abundant bed of them when I was growing up in NY. I just love them.
