Have you noticed my blog has been a little on the quiet side?

You haven’t?

(insert laughter here – my daughter says no “lol”s or “jk”s – apparently they’re out)

Blog posts have been spotty because I feel just a wee bit uninspired.

I think I’m still in recovery mode from too much holiday-ing.

I’m blogged up (which is sort of like when you have a cold and you’re clogged up)

when the sun shines again (sun= great snow photo ops)

and the weatherman says it surely will, someday,

there’ll be a blog post

In the meantime, my little girl

(ok she’s 20 but she’ll ALWAYS be my little girl)

is on her way to Guatemala

on our church’s mission trip.

Prayers appreciated!

(for her too)

lol – jk

(sorry Sar, couldn’t resist)

Prayers would truly be appreciated for her and the team – 15 of them – and those of us at home.

(I think smiley faces are still in)

I smiled reading at your acronyms that were no longer hip. Glad your girl is safely home. Love the photos of her as your little darling.

I too noticed your blog has been quiet. Does your daughter still have that gorgeous blue eye color? Is she by any chance going to John and sharon Harvey's in guatemala? they are friends of ours who have a mission there. Have a great day.

Well … .I'm glad that lol is out of style and it took me bit of thinking to know what jk was and had it confirmed through the comments. Those shortcuts are way too over rated.OH. . .but I will be thinking of your sweet girl as she is in Guatemala. Hugs to you Kathie.

Oh shoot! Just when I'm getting the hang of all those letters in a row they are out of style. I'm a bit uninspired in the posts these days, too. I've had to even drag some oldies but goodies out of the archives to post. I will keep your daughter and you in my prayers…

Oh no! LOL's are out? Who knew? What will I ever do because I think I use them quite often. LOL. See? How will I ever quit?Another mission trip? How awesome for your girl. Saying a prayer for her trip. I know I'm in holiday recovery mode and it has been hard to get inspired to post.
