inspired

I love blogging! I have met so many lovely people who inspire and challenge me in so many wonderful ways:

  • in my relationship with the Lord
  • in my marriage
  • with my children
  • grandmothering (I’m in prep mode and taking notes! 🙂
  • prayer
  • Bible study
  • living a life of gratitude and joy
  • helping others
  • reading
  • writing
  • photography
  • healthy living
  • creative living
  • art
  • gardening
  • decorating
  • meal planning
  • frugal lifestyle
  • letter writing
  • arm chair travel

Oh. my. goodness!!

The list goes on and on.

It’s such fun and I want to say THANK YOU!!

You enrich my life daily and I am so grateful for each of you.

Today,Donna, at Quiet Life, has inspired me to join the Idita-Walk

Starting today, and ending Mar 31st – getting in 1049 minutes of walking.

I’ll walk outside when the weather permits and I’m also pulling out my old friend Leslie – so no excuses!!

and I hope it’s not a contradiction, but

I’m also inspired by Carolyn’s yummy cookie recipe

all things in moderation ~ right? Including  Nannie’s Boiled Raisin Cake.

So very, very good!

We, who live in the  cold North,

need to keep our strength up 🙂

especially if we’re going to be walking in the great wintry outdoors

which is so stunningly beautiful.

In this photo I’m trying to capture the way the light sparkles on snow. I didn’t quite get it but I will yet!

Another challenge 🙂

Want to join me in the Idita-Walk?

We could get in shape together.

Let me know in the comments.

Happy day!

with love

Pam – I don't think you have to pay in order to fill out the walking log. Just register. I think paying gets you a pin and your name on the list. I don't know if I'll keep it up either – but I can use the inspiration!Jill – re snow photos – it's fun trying eh!

I know what you mean about trying to capture the snow glitter. We have high winds today and it is blowing the snow through the sunshine. I feel like I am walking through a glitter storm and spent quite awhile this morning trying to capture it, to no avail. Also trying to photograph individual snowflakes. Thinking I want a lens that will make success more likely.Predicting that your walking will result in a lot of wonderful photos for us to enjoy. Head out there and keep your clicking finger flexible!

  6. Hi Kathie, beautiful winter pictures today. Are you ready for the next winter blast? That walk you're doing sounds interesting but I don't know if I could keep up with you on it. I do walk on the treadmill most of the winter but am longing for springy weather to get outside with the dog. Would I have to sign up for the walk or just do the best I can with you? Have a blessed week, Pamela
