Winter’s ice has finally drifted away from the Island.

I stand on the edge of the shore, breathing in the salty air. The spring-time sun warms  my face, despite the nip in the air. I look out over the sea ~ not a sound except the gentle waves rolling in over rocks.

This is my spring tonic – I drink it in and count the gifts . . .

Blue sky and sea

Sunlight dancing on water

Rubber boots for wading.

Bootprints in the sand

Solitary snail

ribbons of light

Reflections

A golden end.

Listen to the sound of happiness 🙂

Another delightful post. Thank you! The pictures of the sea remind me of my parents' home near the shore, with light glimmering on the water.
