Is it Friday??

Really?? πŸ™‚ I can’t seem to catch up!

Welcome to Friday’s Fave Five!

I’m late joining the FFF party and I’m also still in major recovery mode from some exceptionally busy times but – I didn’t want to miss another week.

1. I’ve been out of blogging mode so I thought I’d just ramble (all my tired mind is up to!!) and post 5 of my favourite, albeit random, pictures ~ hope you don’t mind πŸ™‚

We’ve been in the midst of renovations (finally done!)

and

sorting, sorting, sorting, (still happening),

2.

I hosted a youth group progressive supper and a bridal shower, planted flowers and windowboxes,

and was in major conference preparation – praying with the prayer team, planning menus and baking, and not to mention cleaning (no the conference was not held in our basment but it was clean so it could have been! πŸ™‚

3.

4. Everything seemed to culminate last weekend with our worship conference! We had an incredible time with worship leader Robin Mark and speaker Priscilla Reid.

evening grosbeak – first time at the feeder!5. I want to say a heart-felt thank you to all who prayed for us.  Priscilla’s husband, Paul, who was going to be the main speaker, was in an accident.  He’s recovering in Ontario but they both decided that Priscilla would come as planned. And she was amazing!

Surprised this Black Duck when I was taking pictures of the marsh marigolds Our little country church, which is in the middle of nowhere, really, was packed from floor to ceiling – especially so many young people. So encouraging! The Lord was moving among us in a very deep way as Robin led us in beautiful worship and Priscilla fed us from the Word. On the last night the front of the church was jammed with young adults and teens coming up for prayer and commissioning.

Honestly, I can hardly write about it without tearing up. We’re so thankful to the Lord!

And very grateful to all of you who lifted us up in prayer. What a gift to have such friends!

Hope your weekend is filled with blessings!

with love and many thanks,

Standard

It sounds that although life has been busy, you have also been so blessed – with God's working in your church, with the beauty around you and with the community of faith that has supported you. Your photos are lovely as usual and I was pleased to see a great picture of the Evening Grossbeak. We have had up to 15 Gossbeaks at a time at our feeder – both Evening Grossbeaks with their distinctive yellow "visor" and the Black Headed Grossbeak with their red plumage. It doesn't take them long to empty the feeder!

  7. Hi Kathie!I only made the Sunday morning service, and it WAS packed! I really enjoyed it, though, and wish I'd experienced more of the Revival. Good photos, as usual, but that first lady-slipper shot is phenomenal! I only just saw my first lady-slippers the other day, and was most impressed. There were some white ones, too. Beautiful flowers.Enjoy your weekend!*hugs*
