Hope you’re ok!

Weather Bomb Hits East Coast

I heard it on the news . . . but I’m sure they got it wrong.

PEI is cut off from the mainland

The Confederation Bridge is currently closed to all traffic due to extremely strong winds.

The bridge was closed to all traffic at noon.

Winds are gusting between 110 and 137 km/h on the bridge.

The ferries are also tied up for the day between P.E.I. and Caribou, N.S.

What?

PEI cut off from the mainland?

Ahem! I don’t think so.

Let’s try that again

There! Much better!

Hope you folks are doing ok without us.

  1. Ouch! I don't like being cut off from PEI! Thankfully it's only temporary. 🙂 We had heavy rain here in Fredericton area very early this morning with strong east winds then it turned to heavy snow about 8:00. The roads out in the country north and west of Fredericton were terribly slippery but there wasn't as much snow in the city. It's very windy here but trying to clear up. I hope you are okay! Don't blow away!
