If you fill the house with music . . .

Music_collage2Family singsongs, piano lessons, trumpet lessons, guitar lessons, cello lessons, voice lessons, harp lessons, Highland pipe and drum band, penny whistle club, music festival ribbons and trophies, High School band,  Sunday School Christmas concerts, choirs, worship teams, school musicals and concerts,  countless band practices in the basement – music has always been a big part of our family.

Saturday night added another exciting chapter.

Paper Lions took home six PEI Music Awards including songwriter of the year, album of the year, entertainer of the year, group recording of the year, pop recording of the year and video of the year.

This was the headline in the Island’s paper this morning:  The Lion’s Share.

What a night! We’re so proud of our boys, Rob and John, and their bandmates, Colin and Dave.

Congratulations to your sons and their band! How exciting for your whole family. You must be very proud, indeed. Love the first photo. Do you play the guitar and sing? If so, I am not surprised because of your beautiful photography- creativity always has many branches.
