Hi there and welcome to Friday’s Favourite Five. I’m so happy to be back into the FFF swing of things. It’s good exercise for the soul to count blessings and I’ve missed it! Thanks Susanne for faithfully hosting every week.
1. I’m beginning my blessing list with a facebook status and picture from my daughter Sarah – I consider PEI summer to be the reward for surviving winter. True words! Hooray for summer! I love this time of year because it’s all still ahead of us.
2. We had a lovely Father’s Day. The boys’ band, Paper Lions, played at a free concert in Victoria Park and, afterwards, we had pizza together. We missed our oldest boy and daughter-in-law – their presence would have made the day perfect.Notice the newest member of the family? Nora and James’ new puppy – Walter. A sweetie. Bottom row – first picture – some of the Paper Lions’ biggest fans – family! Thanks to Dorothy for capturing all these sweet memories!
5. And finally – a video that I’ve watched over and over. Oscar’s first laugh. I don’t know if I love watching his face or Robbie’s! It’s one of the sweetest rewards of grandparenting – to see your children loving their children.
Thank you so much for joining me this week. Many blessings to you and yours!
