A very full month! How do you begin to catch up? Let’s start with . . .
1. A wonderful surprise trip to . . .
warm and sunny Cuba with John, Kathleen, Josie and Isaiah. We joined up with our good friends, the McLeods.
Lots of beach-time, swimming, sand-castle-making, reading, long chats and best of all – warm sun on our faces. What a lovely treat after a long winter!
2. The day after we arrived back on the Island, (mid-May and still a few snowbanks – can you believe it?) Rob, Dorothy and Oscar came to visit. They just purchased a lovely century home and are staying with us while the renovations are being completed.
It’s been such fun to wake up in the morning to a sweet little voice calling out, “Dada, Mama, Rara” (Sarah) and an occasional “Nana”. He doesn’t say Grampie yet, but he has lots of kisses to make up for it 🙂
Walks, visits to our neighbour’s new goat and baby chicks, stories, music and rides in his new car. Who’s having more fun with the new car, Oscar or Grampie?
3. A week after our return from Cuba, our church hosted the 9th annual Revival in Belfast PEI conference with Robin Mark and Paul and Priscilla Reid from Belfast Northern, Ireland. The teaching and worship were awesome! Over 600 people coming from everywhere – the church was packed. We’re already looking forward to next year.
5. And for my final favourite – Roger in his happy place – the garden. The potatoes and carrots are already up.
Thanks so much for visiting!
PS for more Friday Fave’s visit our lovely hostess, Susanne, at Living To Tell The Story.
